Notts Outlaws’ Vitality T20 Blast clash with Durham at Chester-le-Street has been washed out without a ball being bowled.

At around 11am the rain arrived and didn’t let up for the entire afternoon forcing the umpires to call it a day at 1:50pm.

The washout hands both sides a point leaving Notts second in the T20 Blast North Group on 10 points, three points behind leaders Lancashire.

However, a Worcestershire victory over Northants would see the Outlaws drop a place to third.

Meanwhile Durham stay fourth in the table, one point above Leicestershire, on 9 points.

Notts Outlaws are next in action under the lights at Trent Bridge for an East Midlands Derby against Derbyshire next Friday (August 16).
