Dan Christian is returning to Trent Bridge in 2020 for his sixth season as an Outlaw, and fifth as T20 skipper.
The Australia international has forged a fine reputation worldwide in limited-overs cricket – but it has been in the green and gold of Notts that he has made the biggest impact, as his imposing statistics show.
63 – T20 appearances for Notts
Christian has appeared for 16 T20 outfits worldwide in a globetrotting career – in addition to turning out 16 times for his country in the format – but Trent Bridge has become his limited-overs home. The all-rounder has made more T20 appearances for Notts than for any other team – and, with games in the One-Day Cup and County Championship taking his overall Nottinghamshire tally to 81, he can close in on a century of appearances for the county next year.
113 – Christian’s high score for the Outlaws
Christian’s standout score for Notts – achieved against Northamptonshire in 2018 – remains a landmark moment in Outlaws history, and one of the finest T20 innings ever seen worldwide.
The right-hander bludgeoned his way to 113 from just 40 deliveries, reaching three figures from his first 30 balls.
It remains the ninth-fastest T20 century ever scored anywhere, and is the second quickest on these shores.
In total, Christian has hit 2,021 runs for Notts, including 12 half-centuries in addition to that blistering hundred.

Christian has a knack of picking up crucial wickets with his right-arm seam – as Melbourne Renegades fans will certainly testify, after his two scalps in the 2019 BBL final sealed victory for his side.
In green and gold, Christian’s best of 5-40 came in a 50-over fixture against Warwickshire at Welbeck.
7 – T20 titles worldwide
He may have led Notts through an unprecedented period of T20 consistency – with 2017’s Blast win being one of three Finals Day appearances in the past four years – but Christian’s white-ball pedigree extends much further.
The 36-year-old also scooped the English T20 title with Hampshire in 2010, and has claimed three BBL trophies alongside successes in the Caribbean Premier League and Mzansi Super League.
