Outlaws skipper Dan Christian is remaining positive after the opening Vitality Blast encounter against Worcestershire Rapids, despite his side going down to a 28-run defeat.
The reigning champions, led by Moeen Ali and a brilliant all-round performance by Ed Barnard took the spoils on the opening evening of the 2019 season, with the Outlaws reaching 133-9 in reply to the visitors' 161-6.
However, Christian was keen to stress that there were plenty of positives to take from the defeat, and immediately turned his attentions to the games to come, starting with the trip to Yorkshire tomorrow evening.
