Alex Hales has been selected by Barbados Tridents for this autumn’s edition of the Caribbean Premier League.

The Outlaws opener was the first pick in the CPL Draft, and will join West Indies captain Jason Holder and Pakistan international Wahab Riaz at the Kensington Oval.

The 2019 CPL begins on 4th September, but Hales’ availability for Tridents will be contingent on Notts’ progress in the T20 Vitality Blast, which concludes with finals day on 21st September with Hales due to be available for the entire competition in the UK.

This is set to be the right-hander’s first appearance in the CPL, having already plied his trade in the Indian Premier League, Australia's Big Bash League, the Pakistan Super League and the T10 League in the UAE.
