Nottinghamshire Assistant Head Coach Paul Franks knows how lucky the players and staff are to be heading back into competitive action tomorrow, and believes a local derby clash against Derbyshire is the perfect way to start.
After the 2020 season was stalled due to COVID-19, Franks says the players are champing at the bit to get started after the brakes were put on their preparations back in March.
The former Green and Golds all-rounder is also looking forward to seeing new recruits Tom Barber, Peter Trego and Haseeb Hameed get their chance to show their talent after joining the club in the off season.
