Tom Moores' composed, controlled and - at times - flamboyant century was the highlight of the second day of Nottinghamshire's Bob Willis Trophy fixture against Yorkshire at Trent Bridge.

The 23-year-old first steadied the ship alongside Peter Trego and Samit Patel, before cutting loose in a last-wicket stand of 61 with Matt Carter on his way to a second First-Class hundred, and first on the hallowed turf of Trent Bridge.

The wicketkeeper's efforts, alongside a fifty for skipper Steven Mullaney and valuable contributions from Joe Clarke, Trego and Patel, gave the hosts a crucial 91-run first innings lead heading into day three.
