Nottinghamshire skipper Steven Mullaney says his side’s batting efforts were well below par on the final day as the Green and Golds fell to a 90-run defeat at the hands of Yorkshire.

The Green and Golds failed in their pursuit of a 188-run target, having successfully finished off Yorkshire’s second innings in the morning session.

However, Mullaney knows that no-one is going to feel sorry for his team after the loss is aware of how crucial it is to bounce straight back as the fixtures continue to come thick and fast, starting with Lancashire on Saturday.
