Outlaws skipper Dan Christian says this year's Vitality Blast victory carried extra importance after the entirety of the competition was played without the green and gold faithful in attendance.

The Australian all-rounder has become very much an adopted Trent Bridgian after spending six successive seasons with the Outlaws, five of them as captain. 

Christian insisted that the players were very much aware throughout the tournamrnt that supporters were cheering them on from home.
