Luke Fletcher has replaced fellow Outlaw Jake Ball at Welsh Fire for the remainder of The Hundred.
Fletcher’s array of pinpoint yorkers and canny slower deliveries will be at the disposal of captain Ben Duckett from the Cardiff-based team’s fixture against Trent Rockets on Friday.
The 32-year-old took 12 wickets in the Outlaws’ table-topping Vitality Blast group campaign this summer as the Green and Golds secured a home quarter-final berth.
Ball has been ruled out for the remainder of the tournament through injury.
