Liam Patterson-White has been presented with Nottinghamshire's Emerging Professional award.

A graduate of the Nottinghamshire Academy, spinning all-rounder Patterson-White enjoyed a breakthrough year across formats in 2021.

Often bowling on seam-friendly pitches, the 22-year-old took 26 red-ball wickets, including a career-best 5-41 against Hampshire.

Meanwhile, the left-armer averaged just 14.46 in List-A cricket, collecting 13 wickets with a best of 5-14 against Northamptonshire.

With the bat, Patterson-White impressed from the outset, an unbeaten 73 against Warwickshire in the second first-class match of the season displaying both his determination and stylish shotmaking.

He finished the LV= Insurance County Championship season with an average of 31.72, including three fifties and his maiden first class hundred in a crucial Division One clash against Somerset.

Patterson-White joins Luke Fletcher (Player of the Season) and Fateh Singh (Charles Vernon Price Memorial Award winner) in claiming end-of-season honours.
