Haseeb Hameed is available for Nottinghamshire's LV= Insurance County Championship run-in following the cancellation of the Old Trafford Test match between England and India.

The opening batsman returned to the international fold at Lord’s before hitting fifties in England’s victory at Headingley and the loss at The Oval.

The 24-year-old earned an England recall following his consistent run-scoring in the first half of the County Championship season, during which time he scored 642 runs at 45.85 across nine matches.

That included hundreds in both innings of the match against Worcestershire, his first centuries for Notts, as he set the record for the most balls faced in a Championship fixture.

Hameed returns to a Green and Gold side currently sitting at the top of Division One with two fixtures remaining, the first of which is at the Ageas bowl, before the visit of Yorkshire to Trent Bridge.
