Liam Patterson-White praised Notts' fight at the conclusion of the second day against Hampshire at the Ageas Bowl.

After losing early wickets, the visitors rallied and Patterson-White added 70 with Ben Slater, and 30 with Brett Hutton to hoist the Green and Golds to 155, 71 behind.

In the third innings, Dane Paterson took three wickets to reduce Hampshire to 28 for four, before a stand between James Vince and Liam Dawson turned the tide.

With the day ebbing to a conclusion, Fletcher dismissed Vince between the Patterson-White wickets of Dawson and Felix Organ, to leave the hosts 204 ahead at close.
