Alex Hales praised Notts' response to defeat after the Outlaws recorded a comprehensive seven wicket win over local rivals Derbyshire at the Incora County Ground.

The opener blitzed 91 off 33 balls in a chase of 179, including an opening partnership of 100 in 39 deliveries with Joe Clarke.

After the pair's departure, Ben Duckett scored a quick-fire 20, before Samit Patel and Tom Moores saw the Outlaws home with a fourth wicket stand worth 38.
