Trent Bridge is seeking applications from those interested in volunteering at the venue’s biggest matchdays during the 2024 season.

The team of Spectator Services Volunteers are the beating heart of the matchday experience for supporters. Trent Bridge is consistently recognised as the venue offering the warmest welcome in English cricket, with those who give their time to volunteer key to upholding this reputation and experience.

We are seeking individuals to help create the inimitable Trent Bridge atmosphere at our Vitality Blast fixtures, international matches, The Hundred and the Metro Bank One Day Cup Final.

A variety of roles are available across the summer – and for each, we’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic and approachable faces to help our members and supporters to feel welcomed and inspired. No previous experience is necessary – a ‘can do’ attitude is most important.

General volunteering

This role includes preparing signage before gates open, welcoming spectators outside the venue (including at car parks and the railway station), signposting around the ground and queue-busting.

Above and Beyond team

These volunteers provide individual support to spectators with accessibility needs from their arrival to making sure they are able to leave the ground safely.

Vitality Blast flag team

These volunteers have the very best seats in the house, watching the action pitchside in order to wave giant Outlaws flags during key match moments. This role will require volunteers to have a good level of fitness.

Family engagement team

This team assists with on-pitch activities (including autograph signings and the guard of honour before play), and engages with spectators in our Century Club/ Hundred Club hospitality areas.

Those who join us as Spectator Services Volunteers enjoy:

  • An opportunity to see the Notts Outlaws, the Blaze, Trent Rockets men and women as well as international teams up close
  • A chance to meet new people, make friends and have fun
  • Valuable experience through involvement at a major event for a reputable organisation – which looks great on your CV
  • Free refreshments and food vouchers
  • Branded uniform to wear whilst volunteering
  • Free parking (subject to availability) and/or travel expenses up to a maximum of £10 per shift.

In the past few years, we have also established a dinner and quiz night at the end of the season to thank those who give their time across the summer.
