Club Captain Haseeb Hameed had another busy day on the field today, as he built on yesterday's hundred and reached a career-best of 247*. The opener and Olly Stone put on a strong display of a 163 partnership in the May sunshine, with latter also achieving a career-best of 90 - surpassing his previous best of 60 in 2016.
Hameed was full of praise for his side, who, after being bowled all out for 503, then returned to the field to take a succession of early wickets, with Lancashire subsequently ending the day on 100-6.
He also looked ahead to day four and discussed the side's approach to the final day.
