Jack Rogers and Max Hunt played crucial roles in success for the ECB Midlands side at the 2025 Bunbury Festival.

The renowned festival features the best U15 cricketers divided into four squads based on their county of origin: London & East, South & West, Midlands and North. The squads compete in 50-over and Twenty20 competitions in a round-robin format.

Hunt made four appearances across the course of the week, with Rogers twice being named in the XI, as the Midlands side ultimately secured top spot.

Opening the batting, Hunt starred with two half-centuries, against the South/West and the London/East outfits, while also contributing 39 runs in a winning cause against the North side to finish with 162 runs at 40.50.

Hunt also played a crucial role with the ball in the decisive final fixture against London/Eastsecuring figures of 2/5 with an over of left-arm spin and effecting the match-winning run-out of Yuvi Verma.

Wicketkeeper Rogers secured a stumping and four catches, also contributing an unbeaten 15 in a resounding win for the Midlands by 76 runs against London/East.

The duo are the latest in a long line of Nottinghamshire prospects to have been selected for the prestigious festival, with Josh Beer, Henry Hardy and Oscar Butcher having appeared last summer, and Farhan Ahmed and Ben Martindale having also featured in recent summers.
