Lyndon James hit a masterful maiden First-Class double century as Nottinghamshire seized the initiative with a colossal first-innings score on Day Two against Hampshire.
Worksop-born James took advantage of a wearied Hampshire attack to cash in and net an unbeaten 203 before Notts declared on 578-8.
There was also a fourth century of the summer for Jack Haynes, while Brett Hutton contributed 71 as the Green and Golds fully showcased their batting depth.
