Rob Lord collected three wickets as Nottinghamshire Second XI completed a comfortable 140-run win over Durham on the final day in Gosforth.
Lord returned 3/37 from 12 overs, at one point claiming two scalps in five balls, as the hosts, having resumed on 7-2 and requiring another 322 to win, were bowled out for 181.
While Lord led the way, Tom Giles took a tight 2/15 from 11 overs, and Joe Pocklington picked up 2/25, to dismiss Durham inside 59 overs.
Mitchell Killeen resisted in counter-attacking fashion from number eight with a 93-ball 79 that included 11 fours and two sixes.
That helped arrest a slide from Durham that had seen them fall to 49-6 on the final morning, and took them at least into three figures.
However, when he became Pocklington’s first victim, and the innings’ ninth, the end was nigh, and it came when Pocklington saw Callum Gaffney caught behind by Dane Schadendorf.
