Notts Outlaws and The Blaze will combine to celebrate Trent Bridge’s 2025 Pride fixture with a double-header on Sunday 6th July.

The fixture will mark the first time The Blaze have taken part in a Pride fixture at Trent Bridge, with Durham providing the opposition before Notts Outlaws face Leicestershire Foxes.

The day will celebrate Pride to deliver the powerful message that those in the LGBTQ+ community can be their true selves whilst attending or participating in sporting events.

There will be a rainbow theme around Trent Bridge, with players from both sides, mascot Nuts the Squirrel and Trent Bridge staff wearing rainbow items, with other rainbow touches to be found around the ground.

Members of the OUTlaws supporters’ group, for LGBTQ+ supporters of Notts and The Blaze and allies, will also be in attendance, and supporters are invited to show their support by wearing rainbow-themed clothing or accessories.

“Nottinghamshire, The Blaze, and Trent Bridge will always fully and unwaveringly support the LGBTQ+ community,” said Mandy Wright, Head of Trent Bridge Community Trust.

“We are delighted to be once again hosting a Pride fixture, where a variety of different touches to the ground and the action on the field will remind LGBTQ+ cricket supporters that they will always be welcome at our venue.

“We’re all looking forward to seeing Trent Bridge decorated for the occasion, and we will continue to work to drive positive change for LGBTQ+ fans and use the power of sport to bring people together.”

Nottinghamshire’s support of LGBTQ+ initiatives has encompassed attendance at the fourth annual LGBTQ+ Inclusion in Cricket conference – the third edition of which was hosted at Trent Bridge in 2024.

The club, and the OUTlaws, will also attend Nottingham Pride once more on Saturday 26 July, while the OUTlaws have also hosted their first nets and training sessions at Trent Bridge this summer.
