Fans attending the Women’s IT20 between England and India may wish to be aware of additional information regarding travel to Trent Bridge on Saturday.

The Royal Lancers Regiment will be conducting a formal Freedom of Nottingham parade through the city from 11:40am on Saturday morning.

A number of road closures will be in place in the city centre between 11am and 12:30pm and diversions will be in place, with public transport options also affected.

Nottingham City Transport bus routes 5/5A, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 11/11A/11C, that run directly past Trent Bridge, will take alternative routes in the city centre between 11am and 12:30pm.

The Cotgrave, and The Mainline services, operated by Trentbarton, will commence their journeys in the city centre from Broadmarsh Bus Station from 11am until roads reopen.

Additionally, no Nottingham Express Transit trams will operate between the Royal Centre and Nottingham Station stops between 10am and 12:15pm.

Meanwhile, the annual Proms in the Park event will take place in Bridgford Park from 12:30pm to 9pm, and routes to West Bridgford are expected to be busy.
