Nottinghamshire’s Second XI secured two wins from two at Emirates Old Trafford, with key contributions from Ben Martindale, James Hayes and Akand Gangotra.
Lancashire made 168/5 in the first of the two T20s, with paceman Hayes taking three of the five wickets to fall.
In reply, Martindale’s 55 from 30 balls at the top of the order set the tone, and while Lightning were able to slow the run-rate through the middle of the innings, Rob Lord’s 35 from 19 was instrumental in seeing the Outlaws over the line by two wickets, with one ball to spare.

Skipper Haseeb Hameed contributed a brisk 36 from 27, before Sammy King (41 from 36) and Freddie McCann (17 from 19) eased the visitors to victory, securing a seven-wicket win in the 18th over.
