Trent Bridge has been recognised as being home to the Best Men’s International Spectator Experience at the 2025 Business of Cricket Awards.

Held at Lord’s this week, the ceremony saw Nottinghamshire walk away with two trophies, as Venue Facilities Manager, John Gorman, also won the Dinesh Patel MVP award.

The club successfully hosted a Men’s Test between England and Zimbabwe, with the Three Lions emerging victorious across an enjoyable and family-friendly three days.

“It’s an honour to be recognised for the spectator experience we provide at Trent Bridge for what is now the fourth year in a row,” said Interim Chief Executive, Michael Temple.

“We take great pride in offering the very best day out to every single person who comes through our gates, and we are delighted to receive continuous recognition for all our efforts.”

Meanwhile, John Gorman was recognised for his outstanding commitment and work ethic since joining the club in September 2016, and was described as “the indispensable engine room of Trent Bridge.”

Temple continued: “John embodies our shared values, consistently working hard and maintaining an unshakeable positive attitude, and is always willing to go above and beyond to support everyone.

“His relentless work ethic, positive outlook, and vast expertise mean that he’s the unsung force that keeps Trent Bridge running seamlessly, and we are all very proud of his deserved award.”
