Freddie McCann claimed an eye-catching grab in the slips to follow up on a fourth half-century of the season as Nottinghamshire enjoyed the better of a fast-moving second day against Worcestershire at New Road.
McCann top-scored with 56, and found support from Lyndon James, Joe Clarke, and Kyle Verreynne, as the Green and Golds edged into a 25-run first innings lead by posting 207 all out.
Josh Tongue, on his return to his former home, then made that count as he claimed three wickets, including a rip-snorter of a short ball to bounce out Jake Libby, as the hosts were reduced to 93-5.
The highlight of the visitors' bowling effort, though, went to the stupendous one-handed grab taken by McCann in the slips, off James, to remove Dan Lategan.
