Dates have been confirmed for a festival of festivals at Trent Bridge as an independent wine, champagne and prosecco festival runs alongside the legendary Nottingham CAMRA Beer Festival for the very first time.
Both festivals will grace the concourses and bars of the venue, along with the historic Trent Bridge Pavilion following the completion of its £10million redevelopment, between Wednesday 7 and Saturday 10 October.
Tickets for both events are on sale now, with visitors able to save up to £5 per ticket in the early-bird window, which runs until Friday 17 July. Ticketholders will also be invited to claim a complimentary pair of tickets to Notts Outlaws’ Metro Bank One Day Cup clash with Leicestershire Foxes on Tuesday 28 July as a reward for early purchase.

“We can’t wait to extend a hearty Trent Bridge welcome to festival regulars and newcomers alike this October, as Nottingham’s biggest ever Wine Festival joins our festival family,” said Michael Temple, Nottinghamshire’s Commercial Director.
“We’ve had a vision for a festival of festivals for some time now and it always struck us that we’ve got more than enough space at our venue to operate two events at scale, side by side.
“Nottingham CAMRA are the perfect partners and their organising team have become firm friends of Trent Bridge. It’s also particularly exciting to be able to welcome both festivals into our redeveloped Pavilion.
“The modern Victorian interior design will be the ideal canvas for an event of the Beer Festival’s standing, and will provide a suitably refined backdrop for wine drinkers as we take in our elevated terraces and brand new bars.
“It’s always a delight to see Trent Bridge buzzing outside of the cricket season, and I look forward to joining visitors in raising a glass this October.”
Attendees will receive a complimentary beer or wine glass with their respective festival tickets.
Entry to the Beer Festival is free of charge for CAMRA members, with no need to claim a ticket in advance.
The Nottingham Beer and Cider Festival is Nottingham CAMRA’s flagship event, and returns to the home of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club for a sixth successive year.
Previously known as the Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival, the change of name follows the passing of Nottingham’s official Robin Hood, Tim Pollard, who died last June.
The Trent Bridge Wine, Champagne and Prosecco Festival, meanwhile, will play host to bars themed by local wine merchants and established brands alongside nibbles, street food and musical entertainment.
Both festivals will expand into Trent Bridge’s redeveloped Pavilion, with the Beer Festival returning to a fully refurbished Long Room, and the Wine Festival making use of new elevated spaces across four redeveloped floors, the Hound Road Concourse, The Clubhouse and The Gold Bar, a newly-opened space in the ticket office building.
“We can’t wait to be back at Trent Bridge for the Beer Festival this October – and we’re especially delighted to return to the Pavilion, which provides such a suitably historic backdrop to the festivities,” said Steve Westby, Chairman of Nottingham CAMRA.
“Tim was simply irreplaceable as Robin Hood and was a brilliant ambassador for our festival for many years, so it felt fitting following his passing to retire the Robin Hood name in his honour.
“But the spirit of the festival remains exactly the same – we’ll still be offering up the finest beers and ciders from our county and further afield, with old favourites and new creations alike and the unique atmosphere that only this event can bring.”
The centrepiece of the Beer Festival will once again be the Trent Bridge Inn Courtyard marquee, hosting brewery bars and live entertainment, with further food stalls and bars in the Bridgford Road concourse.
