Kyle Verreynne hit a resistant century to safely shepherd Nottinghamshire to a draw in their Rothesay County Championship clash with Warwickshire and maintain their unbeaten start to the 2026 season.

Verreynne, who hit the six that sealed the Championship title at Trent Bridge last September, ground out a gritty 115, while Joe Clarke contributed 82.

The South African world Test champion’s innings helped the hosts calmly bat out the entirety of day four by moving from 310-4 to 537-7 before the draw was agreed upon at 4:50pm.
