Nottinghamshire pace bowler James Hayes has moved to Gloucestershire on a loan deal to cover the rest of the Vitality Blast group stage.

The 25-year-old has appeared in the First-Class and List A formats for Notts, but is in contention for a senior T20 debut with Gloucestershire, having taken three wickets for the Outlaws' Second XI in a win over Derbyshire on Tuesday.

He has 13 white-ball wickets for the Outlaws in the Metro Bank One Day Cup, and secured his maiden First-Class wicket on loan at Sussex last year before making his Notts debut in the format at Leicester in May.

The right-armer will be available from this evening, as second-placed Gloucestershire take on Central and West Group leaders Northants Steelbacks at Bristol.
