The Trent Bridge Community Trust’s latest Community Pride event was a big success, as volunteers made sure the experience of Santa’s Grotto arriving in Cotgrave was as magical as possible.

The young people who took part in the event helped to give the Grotto a suitably festive look, and made sure that the queue to see Santa formed part of the Grotto experience, keeping dozens of children entertained as they queued to give Father Christmas their wish lists.

Community Pride projects regularly take place across the county, and allow students to give something back to their local area and become a key part of their community.
