Nottinghamshire seamer Luke Wood will return to Worcestershire Rapids to take part in T20 Blast Finals Day.

The left-armer took eight wickets in his 12 matches for the Rapids as they topped the North Group with nine victories.

Wood also took part in the Rapids semi-final victory over Gloucestershire which secured their passage to the Edgbaston showpiece for the first time in the county’s history.

The 23-year-old is hoping to pick up his second winners medal in as many years after being in the Outlaws squad that was triumphant in last year’s Finals Day.

Worcestershire Rapids face Lancashire Lightning in the first Semi-Final tomorrow whilst Sussex Sharks and Somerset do battle in the second for a place in the final.
