Ben Duckett spoke of how much he enjoyed being back in front of Nottinghamshire members and supporters as the left-hander struck a quick-fire half-century in Trent Bridge's first Vitality Blast fixture of 2021.

The 26-year-old's knock was in vain with the Outlaws falling 18 runs short of the 229 target set by Birmingham Bears in the first innings, yet the top order batsmen relished being back in front of 4000 at Notts' home venue, and took pleasure in the performances of teammates Tom Moores and Calvin Harrison.
