“We can’t wait to host two of the standout fixtures of the international summer next year,” said Interim Commercial Director Joe Sharphouse.
“Trent Bridge is regularly acclaimed as offering the best matchday experience in the country, and the atmosphere that our supporters generate plays a big role in that.
“There’s a real buzz in the ground when international cricket comes to town, and we know that buzz is felt around the area as tens of thousands of supporters call the city home for a few days.
“With the Men’s Ashes returning to Trent Bridge in 2027 for the first time in 15 years, the future is really exciting – but first, we’re looking forward to welcoming England, New Zealand and India next summer for those next chapters.”
Next summer’s Trent Bridge Test will be a re-run of the fixture which kickstarted the Bazball revolution in 2022, as Jonny Bairstow catapulted the Three Lions to victory in a remarkable fifth-day run-chase in front of a packed house.
It is also three years since England Men and India did battle in an IT20 in Nottingham, with a breathtaking century from Suryakumar Yadav taking the tourists to within striking range of victory, before the hosts prevailed on a day which saw over 400 runs scored.
