The Blaze's Nat Sciver Brunt was recognised for her status and continuous dominance on the international stage at last night's PCA Awards.

The annual PCA Awards took place in London, with a host of players recognised for their achievements throughout the 2025 cricket season.

England Captain Nat Sciver-Brunt picked up the Rado Recognition Award alongside Adil Rashid, the award being presented to players who have had distinguished careers and continue to “dominate at international level.”

In a stellar summer on the international stage, Nat Sciver-Brunt took over the England captaincy, taking over from Heather Knight in April as Charlotte Edwards became Head Coach.

The all-rounder continued to be a prominent figure on the world stage, balancing her new leadership role with continuous strong performances - particularly with the bat - that proved central to her country's success.

During the summer, Sciver-Brunt guided England to a 3-0 ODI series sweep over the West Indies, notably finishing unbeaten on 57 off 34 balls in the final match. Against India, she was England’s top run-scorer in the ODI series with 160 runs, including a fluent half-century, and added a quickfire 52 off 31 balls in the IT20s.

At present, Sciver-Brunt is captaining her England side in the Women's 50 over World Cup in India and Sri Lanka - who have so far convincingly defeated South Africa and Bangladesh in their first two matches so far.

Meanwhile, Trent Rockets' Rehan Ahmed was named the PCA Young Men's Player of the Year, joining a prestigious list of previous winners including the likes of Harry Brook, Ben Stokes and Notts' Ben Duckett to name a few.
