Young People Celebrated At Annual Positive Futures Awards

Trust News

The Trent Bridge Community Trust and Positive Futures have celebrated the achievements of the young people they work with at the Trust’s annual awards evening.

The event was held at Trent Bridge cricket ground and attended by young people and their parents, along with local councillors and the Mayor of Rushcliffe, Councillor Maureen Stockwood.

The awards recognised the achievements of the young people and volunteers that attended the events and activities that have been run in 2018.

“We worked with some amazing young people this year, so it’s great to be able to present them with certificates of their achievements,” said Jermaine Shread, Senior Project Officer at Trent Bridge Community Trust.

Positive Futures was established by the Trust to support young people and to provide sporting and mentoring programmes for the young people of Rushcliffe.
