Luke Newton on Positive Futures

Trust News

Luke Newton, a former mentee of the Trent Bridge Community Trust's Positive Futures programme discusses his experience as a beneficiary of the project.

Luke began his time on the project during Year 6 to Year 7 transition work with TBCT in Bingham. After encountering challenges with his schooling, he was offered a mentor to guide him through his education. This mentoring challenged luke on his behaviour, and he was afforded the opportunity to attend activities days with the Trust as a result of his positive contributions in the classroom.

Having now left school, Luke says he is grateful for the support offered by Positive Futures which, to date, had helped over 1,200 young people.
