Paul Franks admitted his disappointment after seeing Kent recover from 119-5 to post 304 on day one of their County Championship visit to Trent Bridge.
The Notts Assistant Head Coach said he felt the home bowlers deserved more for their efforts in the morning session, but conceded that the visitors made the most of playing against an older ball in the afternoon.
