The club is reminding all members and supporters only to travel to Trent Bridge for this evening’s fixture if they are in receipt of allocated seat tickets. Updates on weather and prospects of play will, meanwhile, be posted here throughout.

The match will be played before a significantly reduced crowd due to the government’s Covid-19 guidelines and no tickets are on general sale.

Members, who were handed the exclusive opportunity to claim reserved seats for the game, are reminded that their membership card alone will not be sufficient to gain entry.

Those not in receipt of an allocated seat ticket are advised not to travel to the venue – and those who have secured a spot are being urged to ensure that their e-tickets have been downloaded to their mobile devices or printed at home ahead of arriving at our venue. Order confirmations received by email will not be sufficient to gain entry.

Whilst, during the current batch of fixtures being played with a reduced capacity, the club has encouraged those with tickets who no longer plan to attend to contact us so we can make seats available to others, this is no longer necessary for tonight's fixture owing to reduced demand due to the weather.

Gates are due to open at 5pm for a 6pm start and all spectators will be sat in household groups or support bubbles with social distancing in place.

Weather updates

9.30am: Whilst we are expecting to see more rain fall throughout the day, the state of conditions during the period directly leading up to the start of play are what will determine whether the game can take place as planned or otherwise. The match remains scheduled to take place at 6pm as usual.

12.45pm: The rain in West Bridgford is continuing to fall. Whilst it's showing no immediate sign of relenting, the state of conditions during the period directly leading up to the start of play are what will determine whether the game can take place as planned or otherwise. The match remains scheduled to take place at 6pm as usual.

3.15pm: As rain continues to fall and the forecast continues to appear a little bleak, we can confirm that not enough rain has fallen at this stage for there to be any imminent early decision regarding the prospects of play.

4.00pm: With an hour until the gates open, the rain has lightened a little, but is still around. The covers remain on, but there is no standing water on the outfield as yet.

5.00pm: The gates are open and the rain has paused at Trent Bridge. We will continue to provide updates as the scheduled start time approaches.

5.30pm: The toss and start will be delayed. The weather has got brighter, though, and the ground staff are preparing to begin the clean up.

6.15pm: The mop up is well underway, and the weather remains clear for the moment.

6.25pm: There will be an inspection at 6.40pm.

6.50pm: Play will begin at 7:15 - 15 overs-a-side.

The umpires have flexibility to call for the game to be played over a lesser number of overs down to a minimum of five per side.

The scheduled cut off point for the completion of a game is 9.15pm.
