Nottinghamshire First-Class Debut – 16 September 2019 v Warwickshire (Trent Bridge)

Jack Blatherwick signed his first professional deal with the Club at the back end of the 2018 season, and was rewarded with his first-class bow towards the end of his first campaign as a professional, taking one wicket against Warwickshire at Trent Bridge.

The young fast bowler agreed his first two-year professional contract after graduating through the Academy and making his List A debut against Warwickshire in May of 2018.

He was also chosen to be one of the twelfth men during England’s Specsavers Test Match against India at Trent Bridge, in a fairytale summer for the young seamer.

Now part of a fast bowling stable which includes Stuart Broad, Jake Ball, Harry Gurney and Luke Fletcher among others, Blatherwick will be hoping to continue to learn from the incredible expertise in that department of the Club, whilst developing his own game.
